Job Summary:
Blavity Inc. is seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Media Planner to support our Sales Ops team. The Media Planner is a (W2) Contractor position responsible for developing and leading innovative cross-channel digital media and experiential strategies. This role involves crafting media plans that effectively balance reach, frequency, and cost-efficiency. The position works closely with Revenue Operations, Partnerships, Integrated Marketing, and the Ad Operations team to ensure seamless execution and alignment across functions. The ideal candidate possesses a solid understanding of the digital media landscape, along with strong analytical skills and excellent communication abilities.
This role will report directly to the Associate Director of Media Planning & Sales Operations
Contractors will be responsible for providing their own equipment, including but not limited to laptop computers, cell phones, or any other electronic equipment required to perform their role.
Responsibilities:
- Create media plans for partnership reps that help our clients achieve campaign objectives within the allocated budget.
- Support the Sales team in digital media campaign planning and putting together strategic recommendations.
- Collaborate closely with the Associate Director to streamline processes and implement best practices
- Collaborate with account teams and clients to understand campaign goals, target audience, and budget constraints.
- Build effective relationships with colleagues throughout the Blavity organization to support analysis of product performance based on multiple internal metrics including technical, financial, sales and strategic benchmarks.
- Partner with Ad Ops to manage and control inventory (understanding sell through rate, as well as what is not sold)
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree
- Required Experience:
- 1+ years of experience in media planning or media buying.
- Experience evaluating and recommending digital media mixes that help ensure successful campaigns.
- Preferred Experience:
- Previous experience working in digital media, or related high-growth start-up
- Experience with media buying or trafficking is a plus.
- Technologies: Fluent in Microsoft Office, Google Suite. Knowledge in CRM software, Salesforce, and Operative/AOS is a plus.

Details:
- This is a fully remote, U.S.- based role.
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Candidates must be available to work at least 50% in alignment with the Pacific Time Zone.
- The hourly rate is $30/hr, 29 hr per week for 6 months
